Monsalve is best known for her role as the lead vocalist of the pop group from Venezuela Tartara as well as Latin Fiesta from London. The show she hosted on TV Alo RCTV, which aired in Caracas each day for almost a full year, was also a huge success. When she moved to the United States from Venezuela in 2002, she was involved in a variety of stage and TV productions. In the following months of working, she was hired as the Hispanic representative of Rooms to Go. She was appointed as the Telemundo local affiliate's sports reporter for the 6 pm newscast in 2005.
